The ambiance at the Hartwell House Inn & Conference Center is casually elegant and warm. Our friendly and attentive staff make guests feel at home, and also help plan the day’s activities.

All 16 guest rooms, suites and studios are furnished with Early American or English wax pine antiques and offer queen or king bed, private bath, air conditioning, and wireless internet.
Some rooms have decks, kitchenettes and/or separate sitting room …ideal for weekly vacation rentals
To preserve a quiet atmosphere, our only television is in the sitting room at Hartwell House I.
All rates are for single or double occupancy and include a gourmet breakfast and afternoon tea and sweets
The Hartwell House Inn serves as an intimate, romantic setting for adults who wish to relax. Children 14 years of age and older are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult in their accommodation for the reservation period.
7% Maine tax is added to all rates
Hartwell House I is the original house, restored to offer Standard and Deluxe guest rooms and Studios. Hartwell House II is our newer building located across the street, and houses Deluxe rooms and Suites.

Hartwell House I and Hartwell House II, larger rooms with queen or king bed, private bath and spacious sitting area. Some offer a 2-person hydro-massage tub or French doors to deck or terrace. Hartwell House II rooms have a coffeemaker.
